Wheaten Olive Eggers were first introduced as part of our mixed Olive Egger packs in 2025. In 2026, while they will continue to be offered as part of F1 and Multigen packs, they will also be offered on their own. This is a super fun multigenerational project with the unique feature being that every bird, right from the 1st cross, used is wheaten. As no other feather colors or patterns were used, all resulting offspring will be pure wheaten in color.  You will see wheaten, blue wheaten and splash wheaten. Some will have feathered legs and most (although not all) will have a beard and muffs. They are calm and sociable birds who lay well and make wonderful pets.

    Wheaten Olive Eggers are a multigen project, so while F1 crosses are possible ( and guaranteed to lay green), we also produce a variety of backcrossed generations that will have a 50/50 chance of darker, richer olives or browns. There is potential for speckles and blooms in this group!
